As a grocery store salesperson, Yoko-san's busy daily work has been putting a lot of pressure on her, making her even more bored and depressed when she found out that her husband was having an affair with another woman. With her patient and enduring personality, she silently kept this secret because she didn't want to break the current marital bond, only revealing her innermost feelings when she got drunk with a part-time college student who sympathized and pitied her.
