Mei and Masahiro were a happy couple until, at 36, Masahiro abruptly left city life for a quiet rural one, far from daily conveniences. At 26, Mei couldn’t abandon her urban life to follow, so they parted with regret.

A year later, Mei receives a proposal from another man. Before deciding, she seeks Masahiro, now living alone in remote mountains. It’s her last chance to listen to her heart and clarify her feelings before a new life.

In the serene nature and reunion after so long, old emotions flare, and they spend the night together. This meeting is Mei’s final chance to decide if she’s ready for a different life with Masahiro or to move forward with her proposer.
