Sun-young and Do-han, married for 3 years, face a rocky life. After Do-han’s business fails and they lose their home, they move in with Sun-young’s father. Do-han’s incompetence frustrates Sun-young, who seeks fun at nightclubs and meets Jung-hyun. She comes home drunk or stays out overnight, but Do-han says nothing. One day, Sun-young’s father, on a business trip, announces that his new fiancée, Kyung-mi, will visit. He met her on the trip and plans to bring her home, but since the trip extended, Kyung-mi arrives first. Her sudden presence annoys Sun-young, but unlike her indifference, Kyung-mi shows special attention to Do-han, who endures Sun-young’s coldness.
